Easy Renter is a very ambitious project created to revolutionise and facilitate the motorcycle rental industry and process. We want to make it easy for you to pick up a motorcycle and enjoy the ride, everywhere in France and Europe.
Easy Renter could have been created in a garage - such as these Silicon Valley companies. Almost in a garage… The idea and the project flourished with motorcycle dealerships and motorcycle shops.
Starting with some big questions…
In France, 48% of motorcycle licence holders don’t own a motorcycle. In a motorcycle market dominated by ownership, how could those riders use and enjoy their motorcycle licence ? How can we make motorcycles more accessible to bikers?
These are the questions we asked ourselves in 2013. The answer (spoiler alert) : motorcycle rental ! Not very sexy or appealing at first glance you would say… but what if we could make it simple and trustworthy.
From that moment on, our goal has always been the same: to facilitate and develop motorcycle rentals throughout France! Easy Renter road trip was traced! As for the road to travel, no matter how many miles, we were ready for the biggest road trip of our life.

in 2013… we couldn’t rent a motorcycle in France
In 2013, several rental solutions (platforms/websites) had emerged in real estate, cars, or boats. The motorcycle industry, however, was seriously lagging behind in the new sharing economy. Motorcycle riders had not yet had their revolutionary rental services.
For example, in the west of France (Brittany, Normandy, and the Pays de la Loire), we had only 3 active motorcycle renters in 2015. Which was quite low for such a large geographic area. Today, on our platform, we have around forty active renters.
So, how did it all began ?
Observing the lack of reaction in the motorcycle rental market in France in 2013, we asked ourselves the following questions:
- Why is there so little enthusiasm for motorcycle rental in France?
- Is it a lack of interest from riders or from entrepreneurs?
Following a survey of motorcycle professionals and motorcyclists, we realised that bikers were actually very favorable to the idea of renting a motorcycle. In fact, renting is actually easier than transporting your motorcycle on a trailer to your vacation site. being able to try out new models for a full day is also appealing. Just over 50% of the bikers surveyed saw themselves renting a motorcycle.
As for professionals, the survey result was indicative of the state of the market. It emerged that motorcycle dealerships were not renting motorcycles due to a lack of interest, but due to lack of time and the impossibility to find an insurance coverage for their motorcycles.
In conclusion, demand was present, but entrepreneurs was stalled administrative and managing issues.
Aware of the solutions that needed to be brought to the market, we created a first version of Easy Renter’s platform in 2015 in Vannes, Brittany. Our proposal then included 3 renters. Today, the team and the platform are expanding in Nantes and we work now with more than 200 professionals throughout France.
The phylosophy of the platform
The objective of Easy Renter is to bring a new way of riding a motorcycle. The use of new technologies makes it possible to inform, simplify and organise relations between the various stakeholders; motorcycle professionals, bikers and insurance.
To achieve these objectives, we have defined very specific corporate values:
- Simplicity - The computer tool must be at the service of various stakeholders.
- Innovative - Easy Renter must find new solutions to better meet the needs of motorcyclists and professionals in the industry.
- Human - We believe that human management is an essential element of any online computer system.

Chakib a loué une Triumph Scrambler XE à Bordeaux
Super accueil de la part de l'équipe Zone Rouge. Moto irréprochable. Bicylindre coupleux, châssis agile à l'image d'un gros supermotard, qui n'oublie pas d'être bien équipé pour la route (poignées chauffantes, régulateur). Très bon rapport prix/prestation.
Alain a loué une Suzuki V-Strom 650 à Rouen
Tres tres bon service. A2 obtenu le samedi matin. Appel chez cottard pour connaitre la disponibilité. Chat facebook avec easy renter et location de la moto a compter du samedi : donc service tres efficace. Tres bon accueil de cottard. La moto etait neuve ( moins de 500 km). Tres bonne bonne machine et tres confortable. Je dois continuer mes essais mais elle fait deja partie de mon top 3.
George a loué une Kawazaki Versys 660 à Saint-Lô
Location d'un Kawa 650 pour 5 jours. Grande facilité de réservation. Moto en excellent état (environ 1600 km). Accueil en boutique au-dessus de la norme. Complète satisfaction. Je recommande sans réserve.
David a loué une Yamaha MT09 TRACER à Vannes
Très belle initiative que le site Easyrenter. Pour la première fois, j'ai pu louer une moto au travers du site. Du début à la fin de la procédure, tout c'est parfaitement passé avec surtout une véritable communication de l'équipe envers le futur client (comment ajouter une carte pour la prise d'empreinte, ....). Par ailleurs, j'ai reçu un mail pendant le trip moto pour m'indiquer que les conditions météo se dégradaient et qu'il fallait que je sois vigilant sur la route. En résumé, une semaine de trip moto qui s'est parfaitement bien déroulée, une communication parfaite et un grand choix de motos et de concessionnaires... Bravo à Easyrenter... Je suis déjà en train de regarder pour louer ce weekend.. Je vais aussi laisser un commentaire sur l'accueil de la concession yamaha de Vannes (Ploeren) qui a été parfait notamment au travers de Stéphane. Donc easyrenter + moto diffusion à Vannes m'ont permis de passer des vacances inoubliables...

Bonjour, J'ai loué la KTM 690 Duke aux Sables D'olonne pendant 5jours. C'était un régal de la piloter cette katoche, une superbe équipe souriante et à votre écoute, à la récupération du véhicule le soir les papiers de la location étaient déjà prêts. Franchement au top, très sympa comme location. Je recommande fortement !
Thomas a loué une Yamaha MT07 à Cholet
Excellente expérience ! Du système de réservation sur la plateforme Easyrenter jusqu’à la récupération de la moto chez Ouest racing service. Excellent accueil sur place et les modalités sont très rapides (moins de 10 min, tout est déjà prêt). La moto était parfaite pour moi : équipée d’une ligne akrapovic, d’un shifter, elle roule au SP et bio éthanol (deux fois moins cher), et elle a d’excellents pneus ! Enfin le rapport prix / forfait kilométrique est très intéressant par rapport à d’autres. 100% satisfait. Je recommande.
